Yangang Software ("we") makes self-hosted software. This page explains what information we handle and what we don't.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts, and it has no forms. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site.
Purchases
Our products are sold through Lemon Squeezy and Gumroad, which process your payment and act under their own privacy policies. We never see or store your card details. From these platforms we receive the order information needed to support you, such as your name, email address, the product purchased and your license key.
Our software
Our products run on your own computer or server. The invoices, ledgers, vendors, tax IDs and other business data you enter are stored locally on your machine. We have no access to them and they are never sent to us.
The software makes only these network requests:
- License activation: when you activate or re-check a license, the app sends your license key (and, for Lemon Squeezy, an activation name for your installation) directly to Lemon Squeezy or Gumroad to confirm it is valid.
- Exchange rates (CrossBorder Tax Ledger): the app downloads daily currency rates from a public European Central Bank data service. No personal data is sent.
- AI-assisted import (1099 Tax AI Tool, optional): only if you enter your own Anthropic API key and use AI import, the statement text you upload is sent to Anthropic under your own account to be converted into transactions. Standard CSV import never leaves your computer.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and help you. We do not sell or share it.
